“Fame and fortune ruined our family”
The father of Bill and Tom Kaulitz complains: “Tokio Hotel has made my sons mentally ill”.
His sons looks just like him. The dark eyebrows, spiked hair, the charismatic mouth.
Jörg (44) from Hannover, is the biological father of Bill (22) and Tom Kaulitz (22) from the band Tokio Hotel!
So far, the truck driver has never been shown as the father of twins in public, never said a word about his famous sons.
If it were up to the two, it should stay that way: The father received a few days ago a letter from America, which hurt him deeply. He should never be allowed to publicly speak about his sons.
In addition, the twins want to disinherit her father!
Jörg: “I think they want to leave their inherit to the welfare of animals.”
In BILD Jörg breaks his silence for the first time. He does it out of concern for his two boys, whom he has no seen in three years.
“The fame and money have destroyed our family,” says Jörg in a sad voice to Bild. “Since Bill and Tom went to America in the fall of 2010, I only have contact with them through SMS. Tom’s last text message said: ‘Have problems, have to work on our past’! I think they mean that they have lost their way in life. ”
From the perspective of the father, that comes as no surprise: “They chased them from gig to gig, until they were burned out. I was once behind the stage. There was no glamor, just two emaciated little boys and a few cold burgers. The stress had made them mentally ill. ”

If they wanted to go to the movies, they had to rent a place. If they wanted to go to a restaurant, they had to order the food to their hotel room. They were like prisoners. ”
The father was allowed to visit his children’s concerts, but never to reveal himself as their father: “In the audience were my ex-wife Simone and her new husband Gordon as the official parents, I had to sit somewhere on the edge. I thought back then that drivers simply do not fit well into the picture. Today, I’m sure that Bill and Tom are not to blame. I believe that their mother is behind it. She always had the reins. ”
